Privacy Policy

We collect account and profile details, your birthdate for age eligibility, content you create, communities and marketplace activity, safety reports, support requests, and technical security records needed to run the service.

Optional data includes analytics, crash reports, precise location, contact-derived hashes, identity-verification data, connected-service data, and AI context you choose to share.

On the web, essential session technologies support authentication and security, while local browser storage may remember language and accessibility preferences. The Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy explains these technologies and available controls.

Contact discovery is optional. Email addresses and phone numbers are normalized and converted to one-way hashes on your device. Only hashes are sent to NeuroCircle to find mutual opt-in matches. Contact names and the raw address book are not uploaded. Dismissed suggestions are suppressed for your account.

If you grant permission, precise coordinates are stored in a private location record and reduced to a city or region label for visible features. Local news uses coarse city, region, and country context; precise coordinates are not sent to news publishers.

We use information to operate accounts, feeds, messaging, communities, discovery, calls, subscriptions, safety systems, support, and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data or use direct-message content, precise location, contact-derived hashes, or identity documents for advertising.

We share information only as needed with contracted providers that support infrastructure and authentication, app delivery and notifications, subscriptions and payments, communications and media, content safety, identity verification, and user-selected AI features. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as safety, security, support, and service improvement, and obtain consent for optional processing such as precise location, contact discovery, marketing, or certain analytics.

You may withdraw consent for optional processing through app settings or device permissions. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

Account information is generally retained while your account is active. Deleted content and accounts are removed or de-identified from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to technical processing and backup rotation.

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for payment records, fraud prevention, enforcement, safety investigations, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or protecting the service. Retained records are limited to the purpose requiring retention and are access-controlled.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Information may be processed in countries where NeuroCircle or its service providers operate. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards and contractual protections.

You can control profile visibility, analytics, crash reporting, marketing, read receipts, location, and contact discovery in the app. You can export or delete your account from Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or obtain a portable copy of personal data.

Accounts for children under 13 are not permitted. Teen accounts receive additional privacy and live-interaction protections. NeuroCircle does not use teen data for targeted advertising.
